Institute for Northern Culture in Lapland

The Institute for Northern Culture in Lapland is a network consisting of three educational levels and cultural actors. The Institute develops vitality and well-being in Lapland through cooperation between education, research and artistic activity. The Institute works in the whole Barents region and the Circumpolar North.
The core of the Institute is composed of the Faculty of Art and Design at the University of Lapland, the Culture education at Kemi-Tornio University of Applied Sciences, and the Culture education at the Vocational College Lappia.

The Sámi Education Institute

The Sámi Education Institute is a secondary degree school which provides a variety of vocational training in both Finnish and Sámi, as well as promotes Sámi culture in the whole Sámi region. The Sámi Education Institute is one of the network partners of the Institute for Northern Culture.
